Are you asking about the adjustment on the slack adjuster for the clutch lever on the handle bars or the clutch adjustment screw that is held in place by the lock nut inside the primary? I would do a full clutch adjustment if it were me. Loosen the slack adjuster for the hand lever until it is very loose then you have to take off the inspection cover for the primary to adjust the clutch. Lock nut loosened up then take allen wrench for adjusting screw and turn in until lightly seated & then back out 1/2 to 1 turn, lock the nut back down put everything back together and adjust clutch lever's free play. You will be able to tell wich way to turn the clutch lever's free play adjuster by how much or how less of free play you are getting in the clutch lever depending on which way you are turning the adjuster. You can do a search for CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT here & find more informative directions.
