You shouldn't make your decision based on how it looks. It's all about maintaining a proper trail (between approximately 2" - 5.5"). With no other changes, lowering the rear end will increase trail; adding a raked triple tree will decrease trail.

Like Lucky said, watch your trail if just use a raked tripletree......too little trail can be very dangerous.
The Seeger cycle and the AME kits are designed to keep correct trail measurments..Thats why you can go much more radical with them....

HI Im thinking on having a raked 14degree tripletree and 8" extra suspension tubes on my 2007 fxst... Does somebody knows if the way of driving my bike will be very different??
