Funny story, but I've been looking for the best and economical way to increase performance and sound. Looking thru American Iron Magazine, I saw an add on BCT baffles. Here's the deal, I work in Milwaukee, but live in Charlotte, NC.
I called them up and found out that they are out of Matthews, NC which is 15 minutes from where I live. Not only that, but Gail, the really nice lady I talked to told me to go to the same shop that I have my shovel worked on.
I'm pretty excited because I really just want the Fatboy to be a louder bike. I'veused to riding the shovel, which has straight pipes.
BTW, can anyone tell me how to postpictures in the message. Can't figure it out.
i put the BCT baffles in last year...they sound awesome!!! i did not notice any power difference though...
the one thing you will notice when you get them is how simple they look...they are just a hollow tube with an eyehook... they claim if you put the eyehook towards the bike it will be quieter and if you face it towards the rear it will be louder...mine are facing the rear....
by the way, i have an 02 flstf and v&h longshots!!!
I have them in my BR, sound is outstanding. I had pipes, baffles, air intake and SERT done at the same time, so I don't know if they gave me any extra power. But the sound was worth the $$.
