Visited the dealer today. Spokes were tight and tire was alright (or within whatever tolerances tires have these days). Turns out that fork clunk I've had from day one wasn't normal. He adjusted the steer head bearings, said it was pretty sloppy. I guess I was so used to riding old pieces of crap before this bike that I didn't realize how loose it was. Thing rides much better, no noise, feels tight as a ....... anyhow..... $41, wasn't as bad as I expected. I might actually go back again someday.
