Default Fatboy Rim Cleaning

Is therea product that makes keeping the cast aluminum Fatboy rims clean, any easier? Mine are stained and would like to bringthem back and keep them that way! Everything I have tried so far, has been huge work.

I need to know this, too. my rear wheel is pitted and has a stain in one spot, I think from the brake dust maybe.

Try Never Dull on the shiny parts. Will pull all that discoloration right out. Keep applying it until no more black comes out. First time you use it, it will take a while (lots of elbow grease) til it's all cleaned up. After that maintenance is easy. I've never tried it on the textured portion of the rim. Try it. Can't hurt it.

Mothers powerball works pretty well along with some mothers polish.

It's the brake dust. The real solution is pads that don't dust. Lyndall makes such pads. As mentioned above, you can get some improvement with various polish, but once stained, its really difficult. I looked at my owners manual...can you believe that Harley recommends washing and waxing alloy rims every week? That's what it says...

I used brake cleaner. Took off the dust and the grease. Then washed with soap and water

Thumbs up on the Mother Power Ball. I put Wenol on the power ball, and it shines everything right up.

I purchase wenol form my local scoot shop. Best stuff out there.
