Forgive me, I'm a bit bored and can't go ride b/c of work, so I was thinking of what I am going to do next to my bike and have narrowed it down to these last few things before I am "done" with it. I already have chrome controls and the HD Garage Door opener wich I will installl ASAP. However, after that, I thought I would see what order you guys think I should do these mods in?
[ul][*]Kurakyn Panacia Taillight and remove rear turn signals[*]Custom Paint Job, will also powdercoat my oil tank black, along withmaybe my rings and hubs on my spoke wheels (it will all tie in with the black in the paint job).[*]95" Big Bore Kit with hotter cams[*]D&D Fat Cat[*]Chrome Calipers and Rotors[/ul]
Since you know how much I like dark stuff I would go with the paint and powder coat WARG. The wheels would be a huge difference. Think also I would let all the other things go and get air ride something and do the front end while I was at it.If I was to do it again the suspension would be one of my 1st mods since it makes the bike so much more enjoyable to ride. If you did the black thing with the wheels I'd also leave the calipers black to add contrast to the chrome spokes.
That's what I would do since you asked. BA

Cool, you just saved me $700.00, well, maybe not saved, just reallocated. I figure when my tins are out for paint would be a great time to take my oil tank off for powedercoat, and take my wheels in. I may go up toan 80 spoke if I can get them for a good price, maybe go up in diameter to 18" as well, but then again, the price keeps going up.
+1 on the custom paint and powdercoating. I believe that money is best spent on the biggest bang for the buck and the visual stuff really changes the look of the bike much more than more pony's or taillights etc...
I'm just the opposite. I think that more ponies, and engine mods come right after ergos. Once you are set right, you can do engine work, and your bike won't look any different. In the 70's they called them sleepers. If you do your visual mods first, they would have said ' All show, no go.'
If your into spokes, then some fat daddies would look nice on your bike like posted above. Matching red lip, black spokes, and chrome nipples...Would look sweet.

that's kinda what I am thinking. Also, it would be nice to get everything else done before paint just so the bike won't be getting taken apart after the new paint job, cuts down the chances of scratching or denting the tins. Thanks for the opinions, keep'em coming.
