Called Vance and Hines today and was told that the only two pipes they are working on for the Rockers was the Big Radius 2 x 2 and 2 x 1. I just wanted to check how far along they were and was told it was going to be July 1st before they would be ready. Told him they have said March then April then May then June and now July and that I was just going to go ahead and order their BR2 into 1's and install like everyone else has, his reply was that he's already having people complain that their paint on the oil tank is peeling because of non Rocker specific pipes. Is anyone here having this problem yet ? Or scare tactic ?
Went to the dealership and stuck my index finger between the stock rear pipe and the oil bag below the heat sheild.....couldn't get it to squeeze in there.
My Big Radius pipes....slides in with room to spare. I've put a solid 2500 HARD miles on mine since the install....no cracking, no discoloration, nothing....
I have notice some pics here with the 2x1 and there visually seems to be no difference between these and stock, if anything it looks to be a little more space with the V&H 2x1.
seems to me to be a load of bullocks!!!!
Is this V&H`s way of saying, "Hey we had to design these pipes especially, so we have to charge more" and really what takes a compnay this many months to fit a pair of pipes.
Disapointed Disapointed Disapointed.
By the way got 2 into 2 on my rocker c and I confirm with others - no problem........
