Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone can recomend a slip on that has a nice sound but not too loud (2005 Fatboy).I currently leave for work early in he a.m and I also live in a condo so I'm really not looking too **** my neighbors off too much.
This is my first bike I have ever owned so I'm new at this. I have heard the SE II may be what I'm looking for. What do you all think?
My wife has SE11 on her sporster and there is nothing Quiet about them. I have a neighbor that just put a set of Rush slip ons on a 07 Street Bob and they are not loud at all until you really get on them. Good Luck. Check out you tube and do a search on Harley exhaust, lots of clips to listen to. Ride safe and welcome to the Forum.
Vance and hines om my 08 fatboy had to put quite baffels in, dont whant to **** off the neighboroughs too much.
they are still loud as loud as you would want them to be,the sound is what it should be.
Check out the Rush slipons, I've got Rush 2.0's on the '08 Heritage. Nice low sound, not too loud unless you really crack the throttle. Neighbors say I'm not offensively loud.
I have the 2.25" baffles in mine, probably way too loud for you, but you can get the 1.75" baffles and have the ability to change the baffles if they're not loud enough or still too loud.
i got the rush slipons with 1 and3/4 baffles, not offensive at idle, but just have to twist the throttle to bring them to life.

Ditto on the Rush slipons. I'm old so I installed 1.75"... sweet rumble at speed.
