Love touring on the Springer, the only problem is I have to take it from BAD *** Naked cruiser to Springer Bagger, so today i took Some naked pics & touring pics to usher in the new year,
Nothing wrong going from stripped down bar hopper to full fledged touring cruiser...It's what I love about mine..I can set it up about 15 different ways with all the racks and bags I have...Totally different look every time.
I've swung a bit farther toward the bagger side with my touring set up. Now that my wife is also planning to take a few shorter trips with me, I've got the third setup (no pics yet) where I swap out the tour pak for a seat and sissy bar with luggage rack.
I've also throw in highway pegs since this picture. I do have to say that, with the back rest on the tour pack and the highway pegs down it can be a comfy ride. It does look a little silly, but I'll take function over form. It all comes off so that my local rides just have the fender bib on the rear and nothing else (and I only have the fender bib to cover up the plastic guard I keep on there for when I put on the rear seat).
