Has anyone heard anything on the 2009 crossbones? Are there going to be any changes? I am wonering if I should wait to get an 09 model in Denim Black or I can get my hands on a 2008 in vivid black.
The only downfall wth the 09 is that it won't be availbleuntil late August or early Sept and that does not leave much if a riding season here in Northern Alberta.
I have a new Xbones that's Black Demin and I would not trade it for anything (you don't have to wax it, more riding time). As far as changes for 09, they might make a couple of little changes but nothing big. They will change a few bolts and tell how great the changes are to justify they increase cost of mfg (raise the price). You have a hard question to answer, do I get a xbones now or wait and lose all that riding time. The gloss black ain't that bad and if you don't wash it it will look like mine in no time.
I did hear that there will be a new badge on the oil tank... No patent, but instead, the new "1" dark customs logo enamel filled... Should be real nice. I hear that they wanted it on the 08' but ran out of time...
Oh I highly doubt that.. If I had to guess, which I am now, I'd say $34.95, but it is Harley, and wouldn't suprise me to see it for $99. Any more than that, they can suck me... lol....
ORIGINAL: Ole Coyote
I wonder how much that will cost, couple hundred or more.
I wouldn't be surprised if the companymake small unannounced changes when manufacturing the 2008 model as they discover little glitches anyway - though nothing obvious. Then ... along comes the new year and they'll release the "new" model with a shiny new enamel badge and up the price to cover all the changes accordingly.
