Default 2009 crossbones

i found a brand new off the showroom floor 2009 crossbones for $17,500. it is stock and vivid black. the price is everything included, walk out the door. is this a good price or the going price. since it's a 2009 should i be getting a better deal?

Sounds damn good to me, considering what I paid for my 08.

IMO, the 11's are coming so time to "wheel & deal" on the 09 left-overs. I think you can milk some more off the price, or try for a ton of accessories. Just read an article in today's paper on how it's a gr8 time to buy vehicles b/c of the economy (inventory = high & no one's buying). Work it!!!

I have to agree with the Iceman. Work'em a little more. I bought mine (a 2009) in November 2008 for a little less than the price you are quoting. Keep in mind, mine is denim black, which for some reason, they feel the need to charge $300 more than a vivid black model. Get them to change the seat to a standard solo saddle and some other doodads at least. One thing is certain, you are going to love that bike. Another thing, change the pipes, the stock ones look and sound like azz.

thanks coyote. what kind of pipes should i be looking for? i'd like black with good sound. saw drag specialties had these python wide radius short pipes, but they have to change the air flow and timing and said its about a $1900.00 job. too much for me, construction is slow in nyc! any info will be greatly appreciated. also, should i have harley do the exhaust or should i go aftermarket?

So far, the denim paint is holding up just fine. I just use dish soap and water to wash and Windex between washes. No shiney spots so far.

Frankie
Your pipes are your own liking. Go the the various mfgr and listen to the various sounds, that's what I did. I went with V&H due to the fact I put on their Fuel Pac and Bid Sucker A/C at the same time; when the bike was delivered. There is no way in hell that I would have a dealer due this install, it's to easy. If you can't afford the whole enchilada, go with the pipes first, no other changes are needed.
