I was In the Dealership, just last week In Baton Rouge Louisiana. They have the 10's marked at 17,900. I Bought my 08, for 17. Still very happy with the bike and the price.
to 2099d your bike looks awesome, love the pipes, are they the v&h big radius, if so how is the sound, they look incredible. also what is the name of the dealer because i live near nyc and the 2009 are going for $17900. i found some bike trailer guy on ebay and for abt $500-$600 he will deliver it to your house. i'd rather pay that fee than get banged out here for an older bike for the same price here. even though the 2009 is brand new, resale would be better on the 2010 and the bike would not have been sitting around as long.
to plasteredcat, i,m new to the bike thing. i have riden other oeoples up and down the block, but after almost getting maimed at work i decided i'm getting a bike no matter what. but you are correct in the fact that it is crazy how much different the prices are around the coiuntry. i live close to nyc and within 75 miles or more the prices are way above what i'm seeing down south and west. thinking about ordering a bike from another state and having it sent to ny. even new jersey and connecticut are high in price.
who's bike is the 2009 crossbones with "stuff done to it", that bike is beautiful. like i said i've seen pics somewhere else with that bike and think it had a new york city seat on it. like to know the name of the place that did the work, i would love to get a new saddle, not to mention the l antique look of the center controls is out of control. don't worry i'm not looking to copy your bike, just looking for ideas and someone to do them for me. thanks frankie paladin
