i live in lower westchester county in n.y. and can't get an 09 crossbones for less than $17,500 out the door all taxes and tags and reg. tried danbury ct, new roc ny, bellmore long island. any places in jersey close to nyc that people are getting deals? seems like alot of guys getting deals- i must be looking in the wrong places.
also just noticed the price (msrp) for the 2009 and 2010 crossbones is the same. $16,999. where are the deals! do i have to go away from the east coast?
That is what I paid for my vivid black a couple of months ago but it came with accessories. They had loaded a bunch of extras I did not want and had them take back off. For the same price of 17,500 they left on the lowering kit, blacked out turn signals, alarm system and a quick disconnect for rear accessories. I use that now with a clip-on rack in case I want to haul anything around. Other than that I leave the rack off. So far the only thing I have added is the short blacked out tinted windshield. You can hardly see it but it really keeps the blast of wind off my chest while going down the Interstate. I also had them install a Willie G Skull derby cover during my 1000 mile Service. The skull cover looks killer on a Cross bones. See photo. See ya.
I got my 09 in late 08 for $15,000 + $650 shipping charge. Bought it off eBay from some guy who won it at a Harley dealership raffle. It had 6 miles on it when I got it. Since it came from out of state, I saved a LOT on sales tax too.
Numd how did you save on sales tax? NJ charges tax when you register it if you haven't paid tax on it regardless where it was purchased. The land of the over taxed and unfree New Jersey
bonedude, that bike looks nice, love the skull cover. my buddy has that on his road king. if able i'd like to black out the bike and leave the springer and the skull cover the only chrome pieces

NJDMV doesn't ask for a receipt. You just have to declare "how much you paid".

Thanks. Yeah I would like to do more blacking out myself but I was lucky just to get this one home from the dealer. I thought the wifey was gonna blow a gasket. She has since cooled off. I forgot; there was one other custom thing I did. The black plastic cover under the seat looks lame. It looks like unfinished plastic. I got a $9 can of black spray-on pickup bed liner and gave it three light coats until I got the texture right. It now matches the stock leather seat exactly and is very durable. I store my gloves under there when I get off anywhere. I hope you get a cross bones. Harley got it right. Even stock it has about everything you need in a scoot. NOTE: I fit on mine just right at 5' 10". The seat is fully adjustable and will move two inches forward if needed. My wife at 5' 6" can't reach the kickstand unless I move the seat. She mostly just rides her bike because of that. See ya.

i have seen this bike in other pics, is this the one with the nyc seat, if so where did you get the work done because the bike is incredible. is it snook592? the handle bars and the cener console were amazing< along with the rest of the bike.
