The Tmax in the pic is the version2 which is the Tmax ecu and auto tune togeather. Top and back part is the ECU and the bottom bit is the autotune module.
The first version was a stand alone ECU and U could add a autotune module which was afixed in front of the battery.

The all in one is a much better deal. It fits in place of oem ECU and is a bit longer but around the same height.
The only thing U may need extra is 4 spacers that can go over the 4 bolts that hold the ecu on. With the origonal the casting is up near top of threads but the Tmac is down the bottom so the full length of blot shows but origonal nuts won't go all the way down (slightly a bit big) 4 plastic spacers and no problem.
No problem with seat clearence on my custom with the retro seat.
