Looks great with no saddlebags, as long as the rest of the surrounding accessories are also chromed. Go for it.

forget the boys you ride with your money your decision. when they start paying for your mods then you may want to do what they say. go with what you like thats what makes the bike yours. like it get it I did .

I thought about installing one this spring too. I read a post and a guy said fatboys are suppose to look like a old school hardtail. with a chrome swing arm it would take away from the hardtail look. I thought about it and this is the direction I am heading with my fatboy. so, I decided not to install a chrome swingarm. If you arm not looking for a hardtail look then put one on they do look good.

I've got bags on mine but I still plan to get a chrome swingarm. Ocassionally I'll remove the bags &amp\\; double seat &amp\\; just cruise around town. Removing the bags &amp\\; going single seat really changes the look.

I prefer the regular swing arm, chrome sprocket cover and chrome upper and lower guards.

I installed a Chrome Swing Arm, Chrome Sprocket Cover, Chrome Sprocket Nuts and Axle Nut Covers on my 07 Fatboy and I love it... looks very good and no regrets what so ever... but to each their own.

I think it all cost me ~$1200.00 (installed), but worth every penny!
