I have a Chrome one...came with the bike
the softail was designed to have the lines of a hardtail with a smoother ride, if I didn't have one on the bike I would not spend for one.
the design was ment to hide the fact that there was a swing arm at all.
>\\;\\\\\\;(and no i dont really care what they say)! <\\;\\\\\\;

And yet you ask for advice here???????

Shakey
I installed a Chrome Swing Arm, Chrome Sprocket Cover, Chrome Sprocket Nuts and Axle Nut Covers on my 07 Fatboy and I love it... looks very good and no regrets what so ever... but to each their own.
I think it all cost me ~$1200.00 (installed), but worth every penny!
 \\; Got all of the above on mine also, looks great, IMO.
like so many other posts another worthless debate. those who like the chrome say yes and those who think the black is the way its supposed to be say no. first off its a matter of opinion no one is right or wrong. you want one get it if your going to live your life for your friends you might as well end it now. you like chrome get it and those of you who think he is wrong tuff **** its his money his bike. like so many other things in life its a choice and there will be those who say yes and those who say no. questions like these always make me laugh because its always a split and in the end most will do what they wanted to in the first place any way
