I went for a ride on my 07&nbsp\\;deluxe I got about 3 miles away from home and my bike just stalled and would not start.all the fuses are good the bike cranks over but it seems like the fuel pump is not pumping. When I turn the ignition on I do not hear the fuel pump hum I hear a little clicking sound behind my air cleaner Does my fuel pump need to be replaced???? By the way it was no fun pushing my bike home.[>:]

i hate to ask the obvious question, but was there gas in the tank? If so, are you still under warranty?

 

the tank was full and yes it was under warranty but the tow was not coverd I thought that was bull .... if they warranty the bike they should be responsible to get it to the dealer.Its ok that they towed it for free in the winter when i had the front end chromed, new pulley and rotors.

 

Could the clicking be low voltage ie battery or regulator problem?

 

The clicking sound would likely be the injectors delivering the initial fuel pulse for starting.
