I’m test riding a 1999 Night Train tonight.
 \\;
Is there anything in particular I need to look for/at?
 \\;
I've never road a soft tail but I like the looks of this bike.
 \\;
I had to sell my \\;low rider a while ago. So it's time for another HD.
 \\;
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I would hold the grips real light and check for wobble in the steering head.
 \\;
Other than that only the obvious stuff like leakage, signs of being dumped ete.

Do \\;a walk around. Put your hands on critical fasteners, swingarm pivot bolt and nut. Free moving throttle. needs to idle smoothly no shakin like a rubber mount. smooth fork movement. rear end should move good too unless its been lowered.
Last year for the evo motor. Your going to feel more vibration than the newer counter balanced softails have but that isnt necessarily a bad thing. It can be a really good fun ride. Check general maintanance, it should tell you overall condition.
I'm going to have to wait till Monday to ride it I got to the guys business yesterday afternoon and they decided to close early for the weekend so I didn't get to check it out. \\;[sm=confused06.gif] \\;Big Tractor Pull weekend here. \\;Small town living ya gotta love it.
