Hey ya'll,
 \\;
I have a 2002 Heritage...I have never used the security feature on it, just was always in the habit of locking the forks. I recently moved across country and I believe in the move it was armed. \\; So now I have all the bells and whistles, but the engine will not make any attempt of turning over....and...my manual is in storage, my luck the bottom box in the far back corner!!! \\; Does anyone have any clues as to how to turn this puppy off, it's riding weather!!! \\; jlou
Call the Police department,Explain to them your delima,show them your title and regristration and just maybe they will call the fire department to help you retrive your manuel from the box.
The bike will move forward and back, the dealership told me that if it was armed it would not move. \\; I know the lights are on when I turn the bike on, but to tell the truth I haven't looked to see if they are on when I move it forwards and back. \\; I never set a security code when I first got her, and I do have the fob. \\; Arrrggggg...... I'm thinking that once I get her running again, that I should have it permanantly disarmed and just continue to lock the forks like I've always done. \\; Thanx for all of your input..
