Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone can help. I live in Germany, US Airforce, I just bought an 05 softail standard and I want to change the pipes. It is injected. What Problems can I expect. And how expensive is everything else besides the pipes ie retuning injectors ect. Thanks
Hello again. It depends on how you decide to do it. I just ordered som V&H Short shots for my 06' Standard. My local Mom & Pop shop gives a 10% discount on everything I order, so I got them for $270. I'm getting the filter kit for just under $100 and I picked up the Techlusion here on the forum brand new for $150. Do the install myself for free and I've only got $520 into it. Not bad! With you living in Germany I would expect that you would be paying more for shipping. Also, you can always try buying on ebay. My only problem with ebay is I always wonder if I'm getting all the parts that are suppose to come with what I order.
I'm living in Germany as well (too bad my Standard is in the states).
You should be able to find someone that will ship to APOs at a reasonable price. My friend ordered all kinds of parts for his DWG, and didn't spend any extra in shipping.
Also, contact Techlusion on the TFI...
At one time, they were offering any product they made, new, to military members for $100. I don't know if that is still the case or not.
