Some of you might remember me...I had the black Street Bob that tied for Bike of the Year in 06. Well I built a WCC CFL, sold it, and now have an 08 Deluxe. I must say it is alot different than the street bob or the CFL but I really like it. I am going to keep this as my long haul bike and build another CFL starting this winter.
I have done a few things to it to get it how I want it...trying to not dump so much money into this one but it adds up quick! The only other thing I have coming is a Mustang Tripper seat. Here is a pic of the bike. I will post some more when I get the new seat on.
What pipes did you put on your bike? I just bought an 08 105th Deluxe and have been researching fishtails as well. I read someplace that the left side pipe was tight on the V&H and Samson's and that it laid against the oil pan.
Thanks. The wheels are HD Profile and the front is a 21x2.15 with the Avon (had it left over from my CFL build). There aren't many options for white wall 21" tires. Plus I like the skinny look personally. The pipes are V&H and I haven't had issues with clearance on them. They sound great. I wanted to get the really long gangster Samsons but with the roads here and having it lowered I would be hitting them all the time. The bike has Progressive shocks that dropped it 2 1/2" in the rear. The apes are 16" Wild1 Chubbys.
very nice!! \\;\\\\\\; where did you get the shocks from and how much were they? \\; part #s???  \\;also is the front dropted any?
