so whats up with not being able to view thumbnails unless i click them? (including those in photo gallery)

happed ever sense the web site went down. also getting //\\; in place of spaces

Not quite, it is being addressed, but there are a number of forums that are currently being upgraded. The problem is that they are trying to make it as transparent a change as possible and the new software has a problem in that it makes old links go dead and pages disappear.
Once that's been fixed it will be installed.
