Default Mapping with Tuner...

Is it best to wait the 1000 miles to have the bike re-mapped with a dyno?&nbsp\\; I have a Rocker with 788 miles on it and have the heavy breather, but not installed.&nbsp\\; I want to install it and re-map.&nbsp\\; Do you think that 788 miles is good enough or wait?&nbsp\\; Thanks in advance.

when my dealer put my big bore kit on at delivery, they dropped a canned diag load from HD due to the fact that the engine was new.
&nbsp\\;
they told me to get a proper tune, they would need to run the motor on the dyno&nbsp\\;to the revised 6200 red line, and would not do it until the motor had 1k on the clock...
&nbsp\\;
I got itchy and called them when I had 800 miles....service manager told me to take a cold shower

I'm in the same boat.&nbsp\\; Haven't installed my heavy breather yet as I'm&nbsp\\;waiting on a new tuner and trying to locate a suitable map.&nbsp\\; If anyone with a '07 or '08 Softail equipped with V&amp\\;H BR&nbsp\\;2-2 and heavy breather&nbsp\\;would care to share there map&nbsp\\;I would really appreciate it.

Had my pipes, SE air filter kit and SERT installed at delivery, with a dyno tune to boot.&nbsp\\; No problems other than a ever so slightly worn rear tire.&nbsp\\; I chose this over running the bike very lean for 1000 miles.&nbsp\\; It's up to the new owners discression.
