I'm new to riding big bikes so take this FWEIW.
I have an 08 FB and just got the reaper wheels installed. My point is I have riden with the bullet holes. Not much, but after the switch I'd say a lot more wind moves through the wheels.If you are tired of getting shoved by a crosswind .&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;On a butt crack opion skip the drilling and spend the money on the wheels you really want.
That my .02
&nbsp\\;
just my opinion... but I think Fat Boy wheels get a bad rap. you never hear anyone complaining about an Ultra or Glide being pushed around by crosswinds, and the holes in their wheels can't "let" much if any more wind through..... as a matter of fact - once any wheel gets spinning fast enough - like over about 40 MPH, they act like a solid wheel.
&nbsp\\;
I do agree with buying the wheels you want, instead of trying to "poor boy" it.

A buddy of mine had slots cut in his.

I may look into it someday cause yesterday it felt like the bike was going to slip out from under me when a crosswind hit.&nbsp\\; I like the solid look though.
