I have searched the forum, but couldn't find a specific answer to my question. I simply want to know if the Mustang solo seat w/backrest will work with the HD touring (or even the stock) passenger pillion. Has anyone tried this or does anyone know whether it will work?
I called Mustang, but they only told me that according to their web site, it's not recommended and they have no further information if it will fit properly.
If this doesn't work, then I will have to shell out an additional $200 for the passenger pillion, and my wife really likes this HD 14 inch touring seat that we just purchased a month ago.

Go all Mustang, you'll love it after a short breakin. Keep your stock seat. If you sell or trade your bike, return to the stock seat and ebay your Mustang. I've done this twice and have been very pleased with how they hold their value. Just my .02¢ worth.
