Cleaning Cooling Fins
How do you clean the blacked out portion of 02 Fatboy engine. Both the cooling fins and the blackened portion of the engine have a rough surface and as such doesn't lend itself to easy cleaning. What's the collective wisdom on this?

Harley sells S100 which works well for cleaning as long as you rinse well. They also sell a product From the same company (can't remember the name, engine brightner maybe) that blackens that wrinkle black to make it look like new. I've used it and it works well.
