u can get the Rocker seat at a cost of about 190.00 dollars and that will close the gap. You will lose the trick seat option. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; Second option lower the bike and that will also close the gap..

you and mike are so wrong the blue ones are so fast that it make the red ones look black as you pass jmo \\; LOL
ordered my rocker seat and cap for my c model 2 days ago. cost about 170 bucks. read it closes the gap 2 inches and u sit lower and dont feel like ur in the dash.
Has anyone seen the Rocker with the Heartland Biker (Rock-N-Bobber) seat on it yet? I was thinking about the tan seat \\;on a Crimson Red Rocker. Anyone with either pictures or photoshop please post.
 \\;
Thanks, \\;
Hey tags,
 \\;
I'm assuming you have a Rocker "C"........
 \\;
The Standard Rocker (FWCW) seat and bracket \\;is only about $170. Part number is 51480-08 plus 51886-08 for the base support bracket.
 \\;
Arlen Ness do a Lowering Kit \\;Part number #17-100 at about $70.
 \\;
The Std seat lowers the "C" seat height by an inch. The Lowering kit another one inch plus.
 \\;
Makes for a pretty cheap improvement.
 \\;
 \\;
 \\;
Will that arlen ness kit void your warranty? And that space doesn't bother me too much. I don't really feel that I am up that high.
Does anybody have a girlfriend that might actually want to ride on the back of the Rocker with them? What the hell!? Also if you lower it are you then unable to carry a passenger? Sorry I'm a newbie. Just trying to get some knowledge.
Dr - My girlfriend is waiting to get a XL883L and loves riding \\;with me \\;in the meantime. \\; I gave her some incentive to hold on tight though....see pic....
 \\;
DrRocker, I would be careful with a passanger on the trick seat once the bike has been lowered. There is a \\;real possibility the seat could kiss the fender if you hit a pothole.
