i am running v&amp\\;h shortshots with the xied's from night rider. i am getting decel pop. i left the stock air filter on the bike could i be running to rich. by the way it is an 07 nighttrain and what a difference in temps with the xied much cooler.

 

I've got the shortshots on my 08 Bones with Xieds stock a/c... getting the same thing... though mine is not bad it does a little... I would say its still a little lean and the reason for the pop... no doubt you were getting the pop with stock exhaust but its so massive you just don't hear it... If the poping is real bad though I would check for an exhaust leak at the head... a little smoke or a birthday candle will tell ya'...

I had bad issues after the xieds install, turns out my exhaust clamps and bolts needed tightening again I had just did the exhaust a week before the xieds. Pops are at a minimum and quiet compared to what it was. You can find the&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;thread under "decelaration pops with installed xieds", hope it helps, did for me

 

thanks i am going to check head bolts. i think i am also going to go ahead and do the st.1 filter and add the fuel pak also.
