Risers are cheap, depending on the bars you pic, it will wash out. I got DS buffalo Bars on my 97. I love it, but it's a matter of taste. The hands might go numb, but the back feels great, and so does the kneck and sholders. There is only one way to tell, so put some male/female connectors on the harness' just in case. Good luck..

Check out the 1 1/2 inch Buffalo Bars sold by Drag Specialties. They come in 13, 16 and 18 inch rises. I'm putting the 13's on this winter. Already have them in my garage.
