I may wrap the pipes (V&H Big Shot Staggered) but not sure if I should go with black or white wrap. The bike will be pretty much "blacked" out by then, flat black tins and the normal Night Train black hardware.
I've seen a few "old school" black choppers that are wrapped in white BUT not sure this is the way to go.
If you were me, would it be white or black wrap?
How much wrap would be needed for this project? 25, 50 or 100 FT?
I think that black would look best on your bike. The white ain't gonna stay white too long and with a beautiful bike like yours you want to keep it looking real clean.
I had the black on my samson pipes. I since then got a set of BS Staggereds. I like the black look myself, But I think the retro-ish white wrap would look cool.
The only problem I see you having wrapping the BS Staggs is around the crossover tube. Also there is a sizeable step up at the muffler. It may look kinda funky. With my samsons, they were individual pipes 2 1/4" all the way and there was no issue with that.
I also have some leftover black, if you buy the white I will send you the black also. It is about enough to do 1 pipe (that way you can compare the two.
