I was hopin to save some money by waitin on the intake. But i went and bought the screamin eagle heavy breather intake yesterday and put it all on today. I love the sound of the short shots. Just gotta be more aware of cops lol.
Getting it on dyna will get ya an extra 3 or so hp but you no longer have to worry about too lean or rich and overheating has been a problem on the 96 cu. in. when its too lean. That's why the factory now requires dyno on warranty when changing intake, exaust and remapping. Get it done right dude it's worth it I had all kinds of problems with a Dyna-Low-Rider cause it wasn't right.It overheated caused leaks on heads all that good s___.
Only my opinion but I thought it was worth it on my FXSTC and have had no problems.
Sledgemann, are you saying that they dyno-tuned a bike with a fuel pak?
SoftailJim, what modes did they tell you to adjust, and what values did they give you?
 \\;
I read in American Iron that if you put on screamin eagle slip ons and a stage1 air cleaner the 07 can over come a small change but you have to get a pc111 or a tuner if you change out the full exhaust?????

What do you guys think

I think that you have it backwards. 12.6 and 12.2 are rich not lean. 13.5 is the preferred F/A ratio, Stock is 14.6
blubob, cell 1 and \\;2 for just off idle. they told me to put cell 1 to +5 from 0, and cell 2 to +4 from 0. i have them at 4 and 3 right now it seems to be pretty good.
sas, i think it air to fuel ratio, so it would 14.7:1 which is 14.7 parts of air to 1 part fuel. if i had a ratio of 12:1 i now have a rich mixture because i have less air.

No kidding. He was saying that 12.6 was (a little lean) and 13.5 was stock which it is not.
