Default 2008 fatboy brakes

just wondering if any one else has this when riding ,when riding say above 35mph and i squeeze the front brake it makes like a electronic buzz noise,dealer said totally normal cause of the holes in the rotor.is he right or bull ****.ita not a grinfing noise its an electronic noise

Mine only makes a noise right before coming to a stop. I can't hear any noise from it at speed.

Totally the holes in the rotors. If you really want to know what is going on (dragging a pad, bearings making noise, tire tread whining) drop into neutral (keep the clutch in just in case) and hit your kill switch as you coast down a hill. Keep it down to 15-20, more than that gives me too much wind in the ears and I can't hear. You will hear the brakes and anything else that isn't running smooth. At the bottom just tap the starter and get up into second before you release the clutch. You can lock up the rear real easy if you drop it into gear with a dead motor, so make sure you are running before you lever out.

i was told brake noise common on 08 harleys due to brake system

I've got the noise too, even with after-market rotors. It doesn't bother me though.

i have had the noise the hole time i have had my 08. but has anyone had to replace the gasket in the master cylinder for the front brakes. i have replaced two times already , the dealer is going to peplace the master cylinder on the 19 for free.
