Kurt glad to hear you're doing better brotha ! BTW welcome to the forum too as you can tell there some good people here. Godspeed with your full recovery !
Kurt,Glad your doing much better! that must of been one dam scary moment. Will you now start wearing a helmet ? Up here in canada we don't have that option.
Yes, I do wear a helmet a large percentage of the time. I unfortunately made the decision as we were leaving on this trip to buy a new one from one of the five thousand vendors in Sturgis. Came up an hour short. Please don't rub it in.
I crashed last June and they were picking gravel out of my scalp at the hospital afterwards. Obviously, I didn't have my brain bucket on either. Good Luck to you and be safe.
Danny
A thread like this just goes to show the integrity and character of fellow bikers. I mean total strangers really speaking from the heart during a tough time like this. It's pretty cool.
When I first started this I was not sure if I would ever speak to Kurt again since the extent of the injury was unknown at the time. We have known each other almost 20yrs, and the thought of that was difficult to take. Me along with many other family and friends are just glad the recovery has been so exceptional.
On a lighter note I think he now officially holds the record for the longest skid on a Rocker.
