Lowered my Cross Bones 2 inches using the Burnout kit from JP Cycles...ride is a little bumpier but it's not that bad and I really like the handling sitting a little lower to the ground. Also got my personalized plate this week.

I like the look of the 2" drop... my concern is bottoming out...
I think the springer seat would help with the ride... i just don't want to run in to tire clearance issues!

I put about 120 more miles on it after starting this thread and am more than pleased with the handling after getting it lowered. It seems to handle even better than stock, at least for me.
The mechanic at my dealer said the Burnout kit was the best he'd ever seen and wanted to know where I got it. I got charged 1.5 hours to get it installed.
