My 2001 FXSTS makes no noise at all. Have you checked to make sure all of the bolts are tight? Maybe they are at full extension and are no longer compressed?

 

Alot of the springers had neck brg troubles due to ruff roads/popin the front tire off the ground and folks not checking them every 2-3k...this is why I stayed away from the springers,plus my Dealer(28yrs) said it wouldnt suit me as to how and were I drive...

If you think something is wrong....and it sound like there is....
have someone check it out who knows what they are doing....


did it do this before you installed your new risers and bars???

 

97 Springer here...the ride is smooth...as it should be. Have yours checked out by someone who knows Springers.
