I change my plugs at every oil change and I change my oil every 1,500 miles. 4 quarts of Amsoil & 2 plugs are cheap enough compared to all of the other expensive mods I have. I run the **** out of my Train, thus better safe than sorry.

Holy hell your wasting a lot of money you don't need too. 1500 mile oil changes and plugs every oil change :O I don't care if you run the **** out of your train, that's just uncalled for. Get an oil analysis done and Ill bet you a case of what ever you drink that your oil is good for at least another 5K miles. But hey what ever makes you happy (and lighter in the pocket.)

Yeah, I know its good for 5k (I work for a Petroleum Company); but habits are hard to break. I change the oil in my cars at 1,500 too; not the plug though.
Not being smart or anything, but why would someone change spark plugs so soon?
I have about 4,000 miles on it and just wondering what (for the future) people are using. I have heard from people changing them every 5,000 miles just cause its so cheap and just want the best for their bike and others saying a lot longer.
just did my 5K maint through Harley (yea waste of money, never again) and they automatically change spark plugs at 5K and 10K at the dealer I got my bike through.
