Default Rush Slipons

What do you think about the Rush slipons. This is my first Harley and the dealer told me they were a good choice. I don't like real loud, but I like deep and throaty. He said I would notice an increase in power also. Any thoughts?

I have the 2"rush on my bike and I am very happy with them. they look and sound great. If you dont want to lay down the $$ for a complete set, rush is the way to go.

I agree, they sound great and look great... I have the 2", also. Some think it's a little too loud, I think it's just right.... But if you want quieter: Rush makes 1.75" and 1.5" that will be a little quieter than the 2", but will still have low/deep rumble I think you are looking for.

I have them on my Standard and on my wife's Deluxe. They have a nice deep sound and are not terribly expensive. I don't think you will notice a great difference in power just changing the pipes alone.

Had them and liked them. Have a set on my wife's Sporty right now. Nice pipes. If you want to keep the noise down just order more baffle as they are custom.

My 1.75s are hanging in the garage. Baffle batting burned out after 2k. Rush sent me a replacement set but I haven't decided whether I want to put them back on or not.

The sound level isn't bad just idling or cruising around town but if you do any hiway riding they can get rather obnoxious after a while. Especially if you run with a windshield and half helmet.

Btw, I have no idea why the batting burned out. Was running stock except for the slipons. (08 Heritage).

Ideally you should listen to pipes in person but even if you don't like the Rushes you're not out that much money. Got mine for around 240 shipped from cyclespot.
