Hey guys I'm getting the BR 2into2 installed on the bones in a week, I'm worried it might be too loud. Has anyone installed any baffels, if so what was the sound like? What baffels? Secondly, do the baffels give it more of a bass tone. I'm pretty sure that's what I want....
"Too loud"....depends on the individual. I ran the BRs for a year and I didn't think they were loud enough. I was going to replace the stock baffles; but I couldn't get them out.
I do not think they will be too loud. It will be noticeably louder than stock but not obnoxious unless you pull the baffles. I have also heard them with Thunder Monster baffles and they sound deeper. Either way works for me. I think you will like them the way they sound. Very popular exhaust around here.
on my big radius i pulled the baflles cut them in half to get a louder sound, then i put in the 103 kit and it was too loud, i put in big city monster baffles and the sound is deeper but it still is louder then what i want, i might order another set of original baffles and try them again or just buy a set of samsons big guns that go straight back and not bounce off the ground and irratate people
scottiedawg, I had the dealer install Big City Thunder Monster Baffles when they installed my V&H BR. I used the QQ model that is still plenty loud but has a nice deep tone. Ordered them myself and brought the baffles to the dealer to install when they did the pipes. You won't regret it.
thanks guys I appreciate all of the feedback... Windeed I am looking for that deeper tone, how much did you pay for the big city baffles and what did the dealer charge you for install..
