I had a Badlander on my '07 Softail Standard...not a very comfortable seat. After a few months I put a stock seat from an '07 Softail Custom that I bought on Ebay for only $75 with the sissy bar. It's much more comfortable but the riding position is slightly higher and some people don't like the "pillow" look.
I don't know what year your Night Train is, but if it's older than an '07 this won't work as none of the seats made to fit '99 -'06 Softails will fit '07 and newer models because of the 200mm rear end.
