But when you asked for the bake fluid that a 86 takes did you tell them that you had an aftermarket system on your bike? You are really lucky that they even rebuilt the system for you. Honestly I would have told you to hit the road if it was my shop, but thats just me. Anyway just chalk it up as a lesson learned and dont do it again.
Flush it, clean it, rebuild it, bleed it with DOT 4, and ride into the sun set.

I just got mine...a 2000 heritage..I'm sticking with DOT4. Though I have to ascertain what is in it presently. I can easily take a few drops out...mix it with dot4 and if it turns to jelly...I'll know it's dot5 if not..it's ok no matter what it is.
