Mine was a pretty easy decision for me. I was planning on getting a night train and putting a spring front end on it. (loved the spring front end since having a 96 FXSTSB (Bad Boy)
When the cross bones came out, it was perfect for me.
Yea man, go to the dealer.. I love NT, i love the look, design and riding stance, alot different from other bikes, more aggressive. Plus I look the older looking style with the paint scheme. The NT has a low feel/look and perfect with the straight risers with drag bars.
POINTS:
I do like the CrossBones, just not the way I sit/feel and stance on it, Im 6-4, so I felt really high up on the seat.
The Rocker is truly a great piece. If today, had the choice, I would be torn between the Rocker-C and the NT. But I would still lean towards my NT.
Me personally dont really like the crossbones, there just isnt enough rake for me. The rocker is growing on me alot these days, especially if the rear fender is cut straight with the rear axel and then lowered and of course a side mount tag bracket. That just my opinion though. But i would go to the dealer and test drive each one and remember you are the one spending the money, we arent (unless you want us to). Goodluck.
I agree with the others ..... go to a Dealer and check them all out ..... ride them all and then decide.
I like the Black Denim Night Train myself .... less money, better looking IMO.
I drove the Cross Bones and the Rocker about a month ago.
The Cross Bones felt great, very comfy.
I didn't enjoy the Rocker that much, it felt heavy and didn't like the way it felt when turning corners. I wanted to try the Fat Boy and the NT but I was limited to 2 tries.
I'm leaning towards the Cross Bones but for some reason I'm still hesitating.
I love the chopper look of the Rocker but didn't enjoy the way it felt.
Do NOT buy the Cross Bones!!!! I just bought it and I hate it. For example, yesterday I was late for work because 2 guys stopped me in the parking lot and started asking all these questions about it. Then today, I was at a stop light and two college-aged girls yelled out their window saying how cool the bike is. I just can't handle all this attention!!!
I am not a cool guy and now, because I drive a cool bike, people just assume I am cool. It may be too much for you too.

Nothing looks as good as a Night Train when its done up right..............
I get more ***** with that bike unfinished sitting on its workstand than most HD owners do riding around town trying to figure out where they want to buy their new dinette sets from.
