Default Air cleaner

If I put the stock air cleaner back on after a dyno.....will I get a richer fuel mixture?

Considering that the stock air cleaner is more restrictive than your Big Sucker, it's going to be getting less air than before, meaning your mixture is apt to be richer.

I'm just thinking it's running hot, so if I put the stock back on it should run cooler because it will be running richer.

um........I can't comment that. If you want the bike proper tuned, install the stock air filter before you run the dyno test. How hot does it run?

I was riding Saturday. It was about 87 degrees out. Bike felt like it was 350 degrees. I was thinking, man, I've got to get a reading on this. Never did.

It was 80 degrees today as I was riding home from work, and I remembered I had a thermometer in the garage from deep frying a turkey. Bike was felt like it was getting really heated, and as soon as I got in the garage I pulled the dipstick and stuck the deep fry thermometer in there.

200 degrees!

Maybe all the heat is just a figment of my imagination?

I'm going to start carrying this deep fry thermometer with me, and get to the bottom of this.

My FB runs 230 oil temp on a 90 degree day and was dyno tuned with a PCIII. The SG runs 20 to 25 degrees hotter. Wish I could run 200 degrees on either one.
