Has anyone blown a shock on their softail?

I've got a bad feeling I blew a shock out back. Everytime I hit a bump it makes a terrible sound, and if I bounce up and down it kinda seizes in place. Not a metal to metal sound but a rubber to metal sound. Talk about a bad week, 2 days after the sound showed up my grampa hit my bike w/ his pick-up. Jacked up my forward controls, forks, and front fender. Sorry to whine any help would be awesome.

sorry to hear all the bad news brother. my rear shocks are a little squeaky but dont seize in place. maybe you bottomed out and bent one of the rod ends and thats why it sticks.

I got a pair of stock 00+ shocks w/ lowering bolts you can have for $80 shipped if that helps? They were working fine when I took them off, sorry about the bad luck of the bike getting run into though
