Default 07 FXSTC Wheels Swap

I am going to swap out the rear wheel on my 07 FXSTC but here is my question, Ive looked on ebay and other wheel mfg sites for a 18x5.5 or 18x6 for a 200 tire and the prices range from 135.00 on ebay up to 900.00 on other sites. I know you get what you pay for but what gives in the wide range of pricing. Is one that much better than the other?

You must be looking at wire wheels. Most of the ebay cheap wheels are chromed steel rims, hub and spokes. Most of the mid range 300 dollar wheels on ebay you will find billet aluminum hubs, stainless spokes and steel rims. And I haven't seen many aluminum hub and rim with stainless spoke wheels on ebay. But HDwheels does and they are spendy, but nice. You can find DNA 52 spoke fatties for 400-1000 deppending and Fat Daddy 50 spokes around 600-1000 deppending on vendor.

Ebay does have good deals now and then, Later.

You answered your own question...yes you do get what you pay for! I'm kinda partial to HogPro Wheels (had them on my Dyna too); quality product and great sales team.
