Sorry to hear about your wreck. I've misjudged curves a few times (on twisty roads I was riding for the first time) and come close to dumping Reaper, but thankfully, have always been able to recover - more luck than skill in those situations! It happens.
Hope you heal up quickly, and get your ride fixed up and back in the wind soon.
Obvious jab at anyone who thinks differently than you. You could have been better served also. (talkin' 'bout idiots)
Just sayin'............
NOPE. Not a jab at all. You can think any way you want. But that doesn't give anyone the right to post such an obvious rebuttal to a guys post when he was thanking his God for looking after him. That'd be kinda like me saying that he could have made that turn if he was riding a Hyabusa. The post was so far off topic it was ridiculous.
that sucks.. I have no health insurance either..
Take it from an experienced un-insurable peson. Other peoples medicine is our friend..repeat..
other peoples medicine is our friend..
Seriously..Hope you get well soon! On the road rash u need to try and get some silvadene cream..its a prescription burn cream. Road Rash is just like a burn..
Last time I had "the rash" I used silvadene and mane it healed up quickly..
I have some but I am in north mississippi or else It let you have it!
Thanks to all. Looked at bike today. Looks pretty good...considering.
Oh yeah!!! Believe what I tell you, this was fully my lack of skills that made me dump the bike. Also, most likely happenstance that i dumped it at right moment for bike to travel over me and into ravine. Surely God didn't intervene one way or another.
But, I like my God. And like to say so in an unobtrusive kinda way. I like to THINK God looked out for me a teeny bit....because THAT is what I like to believe.
Surely didn't want people to argue over this subject!
The true subject was I wrecked up going relatively slow (who knows how fast exactly...) and for what COULD have happened with my lack of riding ability, the actual what DID happen isn't so bad.
Boy!!! The rash and my knee really hurt this afternoon.
Thanks for all of the words of encouragement.... I will be back as soon as Nationwide gets me going.
Your reply was an obvious jab to the Christians on this site, and I for one didn't appreciate your smart-*** remark.
Your reply obviously indicates a complete lack of sense of humor. Yes, I was jabbing at myself and any other christians and those who believe in any form of god (he did not specify his belief it was the christian god).
Yes... I think it is somewhat funny when we have something bad happen to us, then comment we were being watched over.
The rest I PM'd to avoid hijacking the thread and turning it into a debate over the use of humor.
