Question Tire life?

Hey all, new to site and to Harley. Bought an '08 NightTrain in June and am loving the new ride! Anyone have any insight to what kind of mileage I might get out of the stock rubber? So far have a little over 3000 mi. on them and they don't look to bad yet. Thanks in advance.

I think that most of us were averaging close to 10k on the stock rear tire. That varies somewhat depending on your riding habits (i.e. 2up, speed & burn outs).

I got 7000 out of mine, front and rear. The rear had been bald in the center for a while, the front was borderline illegal and it was inspection time. No burnouts, but I don't putt-putt around all the time either. I ride it like the hot rod that it is, nothing extreme, but I get into it a little bit at times.
