Default Lubricants-88b engine

I have a 2000 heritage which I am going to do my first oil change.
What are the weights for the transmission and primary?
I am going to go all synthetic.

You can do something like Amsoil 20-50 in all 3 holes. Many peoiple here do that. Or at least they do that for the engine and primary(20w-50) and then maybe 75-90w in the transmission.

I do Synthetic (20-50) in the Engine and Tranny. And Motorcycle Dino Oil in the Primary.

The Primary oil is mostly for cooling and Chain lube.

I use AMSOIL 20w-50 and 75-90W in my 06 Heritage.

I agree with ctxheritage. That is the most common and amsoil is very good oil.

Amsoil goes in the crankcase of every toy i have ever owned. trying out redline shockproof in the tranny and redline MTL in the primary. so far very happy with the results
