anybody ever change their risers on a softail custom

Has anybody ever changed their risers on a softail custom and can ya use a one piece top clamp didn t know if they where the same distance between the risers or if somthing was different thats why Harley went to the 2 piece risers any help is appreciated thanks

I changed mine. Put on fatboy risers and clamp with my Wild 1 Chubbys. I think most of the HD one pies top clamps have a staggard bolt patter while the custom has the same distance top and bottom.

07FXSTC is right you can change them for any of the other set you want. You just have to make sure your getting a set that is made for the same size bar diameter you have or want. Unless I'm badly mistaken all Harley's have used the same size mounting bolts and bolt spacing on the top tripple tree since at least the early 50's.
I changed mine for a set of bars that have the risers built in to them and they fit just fine.
