Default Upgrated to Softail-muffler question

Hey all-

After 3 years of riding I upgraded my '06 Sporty 1200C and bought a Rocker.

Got to love the big twin!!!!

I have Screaming Eagles on my '08 Rocker but still looking for more sound-my Sport with SE II's resounded with more "umph" and subwoofer sound.

Any suggestions to get more out of the SE's? A friend suggested drilling the baffles- -

any other suggestions?

Take a flashlite, look up into the end of the muffler, about 12 inches in is a plug, take a 3/4 hole saw and cut out the plug. I like my Short Shots.

Greetings,

I second that one on the Short Shots. They will bolt right up to a Rocker with no problems at all. I did it last night on mine. As far as tuning goes, I have the 50-State Legal Stage 1 download and it runs just fine with no issues at all.

I have a 2007 deluxe with screamin eagles, and they didnt make much noise ,so I pulled the baffles out and drilled holes ,and sounded alittle better, but I still wasnt happy ,so I pulled the baffles back out ,and cut them off back behind the ends ,and slid the ends back on ,and they really sound nice now what a difference!!!! If you need any advice on how to do this just let me know ,and I will go over with you it step by step. Bill
