Thinking of installing Samson true duals on my 08 heritage.
These have the 4" straight cut mufflers. I don't want to loud, but loud enough to be heard. Does anyone have these and are they happy with the Samson's pipes.
Buddy of mine got the Samsons cause they were one of the first aftermarket true duals. Lots of connections, but they look ok. Take a look at the Vance and Hines which came out last year I believe, Seem to be a better set up. Of course you can always buy the one made by Harley $$$$$$$$$$.
at the risk of self promoting, I have a brand new set of Samson 38.5 longtail mufflers that will slide right on that system. They have built in baffles and should be pretty tame. $125 delivered, shoot me a p.m.
If you are not interested, sorry for the intrusion on your thread.............
I am running the samson true duals, 33" straight fishtails with a 10" baffle added and they still have a lot of bark.
Samson's are ok but IMO not near the quality of V & H which are in a class by themselves. V&H makes some amazing true duals, one warning they are loud but like music to my ears. You can get quiet baffles for them however.
